THE HOTEL
We live at St. Timon’s Mountain Lodge, which is a brand-new exclusive hotel lodge reserved for Heliski guests only. There is a private bathroom and toilet in the rooms.
LOCATION
The terrain is very varied. It has Japanese-like forests to volcanoes that easily compete with the mountains in the northwest of the North American continent, to deep couloirs as we know them in the Alps.
There are often large vertical drops and it can be up to +2,000 m, as you typically have runs from the top of a volcano and down to the sea, which also gives a great variety in a single run.
The ski season typically starts in Kamchatka mid-February running into May. The skiing/boarding typically takes place from 0 to 2,300 meters above sea level. The skiing is both above and below the tree line. We plan for weather and wind conditions, where we get the best snow and visibility, always with safety as first priority.
