Covid-19, travel guides and color codes

png colors-05

Naturally, we receive a lot of questions about covid-19 and color codes these days. It can be very confusing, so we’ve created an easy overview of the colors, and what they mean for your trip in the table below.

The color codes are based on the Danish system, and unfortunately the rules aren’t harmonized across Europe. However, the table can serve as a nice guideline for our Swedish, Norwegian, German and English customers. Call or write if you are in doubt.

You can read about the color codes on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website here. The short version is:

Green

Yellow

No worries, safe to travel.

Orange

Non-necessary travel is not recommended.

Red

All travel is not recommended.

So it’s not forbidden to travel to a country marked with orange or red.

*The exact timing for when you can cancel depends on local rules and regulations; to make it easy for our customer we work with two weeks prior to departure which should satisfy all relevant country rules and regulations.

When you return from the trip, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs encourages that you follow health authorities’ recommendation, which can be found here.

Eastern Snow will do everything in our power to make sure our trips are safe. Naturally, we will follow all recommendations at the destinations and implement measures to reduce the risk of infection. Remember that we travel and are skiing in small groups, live in our own hotel, taken to the top in our own cat and are eating together in small groups. You are always welcome to call us on tel: +45 70 23 02 40 and/or write us at info@easternsnow.com for more information.
